Their stories apply to our live and the difficult issues we face in our world today. They were on the edge. They had courage. They took risks. They did the unexpected. They lived daring lives, and sometimes they made mistake - big mistakes. These women were not perfect, and yet God in His infinite mercy used them is His perfect plan to bring forth the Christ, the Savior of the world.
Duty was not the only bond between them. There was also love. not just love for one another but love for the God they both believed in.
She decided she would never again allow her mind to dwell on things beyond her control. The future was one of these things. She would face what ever come and do the best with whatever life God gave her. "The Lord will take care of us."
God will take care of tomorrow.
The God who loved His people and provide for them even the poorest of the poor, the brokenhearted, the broken spirit.
Mightily blessed, but blind to see.
His tender care touched some deep place within her.
A young women of excellence.
God is my Provider, and I will trust in Him.
If the plan succeeds, it will be because God makes it so and not because an old widow has done a bit of matchmaking.
oh God, give me the strength to do what I should, even if it means seeing another women I love walk away with another man.
May it be as God wills.
Just the sound of his voice made her heart sing. When he touched her, she trembled.
But they had unshaken faith in God. And that was a good thing, No, it was the best thing of all. For God would never disappoint them.

Two Kinds of Wisdom
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Pangalawang beses ko na binasa itong librong ito. Nung una akala ko boring kaya hindi ko tinapos. Matagal ko rin siyang binasa pero hindi isina puso. Pero nung naging si Ruth ang topic sa bible study namin.. Na hulog ang puso ko sa libro ni Ruth sa bible at na inganyo ako na basahin ulit ang aklat na ito. Para maslalong maintindihan kung ano ba ang mga nangyari talaga sa aklat ng Ruth. At ang librong "UNSHAKEN" ay nakatulong sa akin para maslalo kong maintindihan ang aklat ni Ruth. I encourage you to read the book of Ruth maslalo na kung ikaw ay may asawa o kahit na ba single para sa future in laws mo.. Napaka ganda it's about obedience, having faith and love..
